Our organic tallow products start with fresh tallow rendered from cows raised organically, grass-fed, and unmedicated. They harness the natural benefits of tallow including vitamins, minerals, anti-inflammatory properties, and antimicrobial components.


This creamy balm soothes and moisturizes even the driest skin, using minimal ingredients and gentle, plant-based scents. We have several scent options:


  • The unscented version is ideal for babies, pets, and sensitive skin, offering a gentle and nourishing option for the whole family. It also serves as a perfect base to customize with your own favorite skin care components.

  • Lavender is our most popular scent. Its light and fresh scent is calming, supports collagen production, soothes irritation, and helps fight acne without drying the skin.

  • Our warm spice blend smells like the holidays including orange, vanilla, lemon, cinnamon, cardamom, clove buds, nutmeg, and ginger. The scent is very light because these can be hot spices on the skin and many of us use this as face moisturizer.

  • Orange has astringent benefits - shrinking pores and helping to manage oil. Its light scent is mood boosting and fresh and it’s known to protect skin from airborne pollutants. Chamomile is anti-inflammatory, calming puffy, rashy, or irritated skin. Its gentle scent is calming and centering. Rose hip oil is a powerhouse of antioxidants and vitamins. It has anti-aging benefits, can brighten skin, reduce scarring, and even help skin make more collagen to improve elasticity.

  • Coconut has components that soften skin, heal fine lines, and improve the appearance of scars. Its scent can reduce stress. Coconuts contain lauric acid, which has antimicrobial properties that can help heal blemishes and rashes. Geranium oil is a mood booster and works as a natural bug repellent. It can also help balance oil production, great for combo skin. It has anti-inflammatory benefits, helps wounds heal, and supports a healthy complexion.

  • Carrot adds a mild sweet and earthy scent and its benefits include removing dead skin cells, cleansing pores, and offering some UV protection. It’s packed with vitamins that have anti-aging, -oxidant, and -inflammatory properties. Vanilla complements it well with a warm and familiar scent and similar anti-aging properties that can heal fine lines, sun damage, and mild burns.

  • Coffee is an antioxidant, anti-inflammatory, and can repair sun damage. It’s a vasoconstrictor, which can reduce puffiness, redness, under eye darkness, and fine lines. We source organic, green coffee beans and roast them here at the homestead for the freshest, mold-free caffeine boost. Vanilla adds a creamy, calming scent and more skin healing support.


Our available scents vary with the seasons. Quantities are limited, so we may contact you to suggest an alternative when your favorite isn't in stock right away.


Tallow is relatively shelf stable at room temperature, but does last longer refrigerated and by avoiding the introduction of particles from hands, air, etc. This is a food grade product free from preservatives.


Ingredients: Organic Grass-Fed Tallow, Organic Olive Oil, Colloidal Silver (minimal amount used for preservation), Organic Herbs and/or Essential Oils (depends on scent, unscented has none)
